### About the Team

SaucerHedge was built by a dedicated team of blockchain engineers passionate about solving real DeFi problems. Both team members are students at **IIT Roorkee**, India's premier engineering institution, combining academic excellence with practical blockchain development experience.

#### Kundan Kumar - Lead Blockchain Engineer

Kundan leads the protocol architecture and smart contract development for SaucerHedge. A remote blockchain developer with a track record of building impactful Web3 solutions, he specializes in Solidity, DeFi protocols, and cross-chain integrations.

Talha handles backend infrastructure, API development, and Vincent ability implementation. With expertise in Web3 backend systems and automation frameworks, he ensures reliable protocol operations.

### Development Journey

**Key Challenges:**

1. **Non-Custodial Automation**: Integrating Lit Protocol's Vincent framework with Hedera's unique architecture required custom ability development and extensive testing.
2. **Mathematical Precision**: Adapting Uniswap V3's concentrated liquidity formulas for real-time IL hedging demanded rigorous calculations and optimization.
3. **Flash Loan Integration**: Implementing atomic position opening with Bonzo Finance flash loans while maintaining security and capital efficiency.
4. **HTS Compatibility**: Building seamless bridges between Hedera Token Service and EVM contracts for native token operations.

Despite these challenges, the team delivered a production-ready protocol that brings institutional-grade IL protection to Hedera's DeFi ecosystem.
